What changes real assets

News, charts, and trading controls share one workspace. Submitting an order, selecting any news-card quick-order amount, cancelling or closing a position, moving assets, approving a token, and signing a wallet transaction can change real account state. Which controls appear and what values they show depend on the current connection and saved account settings.

Connect the trading account

Use Settings / Trading and follow Exchange connections. Start with read-only access or a test environment when supported. Confirm the displayed provider and account before enabling trading.

Set trading defaults

These are saved starting values for the account, not product recommendations. Read the current values before changing them, save only the settings intended for later orders, then return to the order panel and verify what was actually applied.

Risk controls

Validate a new connection with read-only account data first. Use a sandbox or testnet only when the product or venue explicitly labels it as such; do not place a live order solely to test a connection. Prefer an explicit maximum loss and never rely on a saved leverage or stale price. A protective order is active only after the product or venue confirms it.

Submit the order

Fill in the provider, account, pair, market type, side, order type, size, leverage, take profit, and stop loss. Check the complete order once, then select Submit only once. Read the receipt, open orders, and positions to confirm the result. If the status is unclear, check order history before trying again.

After submission

  • 01

Record the order ID or explicit error.

  • 02

    Check filled and remaining size.

  • 03

    Confirm average price and fees.

  • 04

Verify the position and protective orders.

  • 05

Do not retry an uncertain submission until order history is checked.
